A Nauryz festival space by the EXPO pavilion in Astana: 16 zones — from an eastern bazaar and a Taikazan cauldron to the “Tört tülik” carousel, altybakan swings and craftsmen’s yurts.

Challenge
Bring traditions, games and food together on one site so that guests walk a path from winter to spring — with every spot worth a photo.
Solution
A master plan, wayfinding and 11 art installations: the “Kelinshek” bride, the “Alasha toqu” loom with a carpet of flowers, the “Zhel gulderi” book with pinwheel flowers, a khan’s throne, giant kobyz and dombra, flower sheep and glowing “Nauryz” letters. All in photoreal day and night renders.
