An animated story for the opening of a new Zebra Coffee in Astana: an azure butterfly carries the signature cup with a bouquet into a grey city — and spring blooms around it.

Challenge
Announce the opening on 22 March — during Nauryz — with a story people want to watch to the end and share. Vertical 9:16 for Instagram.
Solution
A script and an eight-shot storyboard, 3D animation and the final frame: a monochrome housing block turns into a blooming meadow, the banner unfurls with “Opening 22.03.26” and the frame fills with sakura petals.

1Exposition
A low angle on a modern housing block in Astana. A turquoise brushstroke and the Zebra Coffee logo on the facade. The city is still calm and monochrome.
2Spring appears
An azure butterfly flies in from the top left. On a turquoise satin ribbon it carries a Zebra cup used as a vase for gerberas and tulips.
3First touch
The cup-vase gently lands in front of the coffee shop — and an island of bright grass and snowdrops sprouts beneath it.
4Dynamic transition
An extreme close-up of the butterfly wing sweeping right past the lens.
5Bloom
Grass and white tulips rapidly spread across every visible patch of ground.
6Getting ready
The camera moves to the facade. The butterfly flies up to the turquoise banner.
7The opening
The banner unfurls with “We are open” and the first petals fly out from under it.
8Finale — köktem keldi!
The frame fills with swirling sakura petals: the cup-vase, the open banner and the butterfly — colour at full volume.
